GDANSK MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
In May, the Selection Committee will invite by mail, candidates that they consider suitable, for an entrance examination in June 2012, with members of the Faculty of Medicine from Polish Universities.
You must be available for the exam with the Dean of the Gdansk Medical University on:
- Wednesday, the 6th of June in Stockholm at 13.00 o’clock
- Saturday, the 9th of June in Gothenburg at 13.00 o’clock
The candidates from Norway are invited to Sweden for the exam.
Please do not come late, and be sure to bring with you a pen and your passport as an identity document.
Candidates will sit an entrance examination consisting of 30 multiple choice questions in each of Biology and Chemistry. The score obtained in this examination, together with the scores obtained from your grades in the same subjects, will be taken into account in the decision to grant you admission. Candidates whose scores are too low will be offered an additional interview with the Dean of the Medical Faculty in which they will have the Opportunity to demonstrate that they have the ability to succeed on the course despite their lower score.
You should be well dressed for this occasion, as suitable clothes show respect for these people, who have travelled especially to Scandinavia to see you. A tie and a suit or blazer for the men (no jeans) will be required, and conservative dresses for the women.
After a successful interview, you will receive immediately in Gothenburg and Stockholm a certificate of enrolment for the medical studies at the University, which you need to send to the State Educational Loan Fund (e.g. Lånekassen, CSN).
At the interview you will also be informed about the payment schedule, books, trip to your university, accommodation and many other practical points.
WROCLAW MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
The Wroclaw Medical University does not hold an entrance examination.
Admission is based on the estimation of your marks in biology, chemistry, physics and English.
